Year 5 and 6 had a fantastic day on Wednesday at the Food and Farming day that took place at Writtle College. The children were able to visit 5 different zones which;
Allowed them to see how the Essex countryside works and meet those people who are responsible for its management and sustainability
Let them explore the link between food and farming
Give them the opportunity to meet animals close up
Help them understand the impact of the environment on your future
Show them how easy it is to produce meals from Essex produce
