Mr Sime and Mrs Harrington accompanied the Year 5/6 children on a packed half day at Maltings Academy on Tuesday. The children were given a taste of secondary school life, first with a lesson based in an inflatable planetarium. A scientist talked the children through our solar system (and beyond!) and fielded some very interesting and probing questions. The children also took part in an Art lesson, making 'Dream Catchers' and a Wood Tech class, making a bird feeder. The children were fully engaged and enjoyed all the resources Maltings had to offer.
