Food and Farming Day

Today the year fours were invited to Writtle College to enjoy the Food and Farming Day.

The event was broken into different zones. Firstly, we went to the countryside zone, then we went to the crop section, after that we went to the food section and finely the machinery section.

We got to try different foods, pet different farm animals, learn about how all the crops are grown and then turned into foods and see the farm machinery such as combine harvesters and tractors.
