This week Reception and Year 3 children were visited by Advent dental surgery. The children had a class presentation and then children who had been given consent were given a free check of their teeth.
Advent Dental Practice in Chelmsford have been asked to take part in a NHS Pilot to provide oral health education and treatment as appropriate to children, parents and carers in schools in and around the Chelmsford area. The aim of this initiative is to provide sustainable dental access to children and families in the Mid and South Essex area and to reduce the pain, suffering and absenteeism caused by dental disease.
