Twenty-five children from KS2 visited the Europa Centre in Hornchurch on Wednesday afternoon. The coach journey did not take long and we had our packed lunch in the café area inside. The children then went with their groups and a Spanish assistant to do various activities, including shopping, buying snacks and solving a puzzle involving finding an animal. They were encouraged to speak Spanish all the time, and did brilliantly. The Terling school staff were so proud of how everyone was prepared to have a go at speaking and joining in, and the Europa Centre staff were very impressed by the efforts of such young children. ¡Estupendo!
